What products do you offer?
We have three hair care collections: Freedom, Control, and Rescue. Every collection contains shampoo, conditioner, and a third step that could be either a leave-in cream or styling cream that goes with your mood. All of our products have a dual action: Impossible Keratin™ that strengthens each hair strand from within and a potent herbal ingredient that takes care of hair’s outer shell. Our work didn’t end there, though! We are also creating a powerful serum with all the goodness of our three collections combined. All of our products work wonders on every hair type and are SULPHATE-FREE | CRUELTY-FREE | PARABEN-FREE | PHTHALATE-FREE | COLORANT-FREE.
Which Lu™ collection should I use for my hair type?
That’s a great question! Our collections were designed to work on every hair type because we want to change the way you conceive and buy haircare. Any collection would do wonders to your hair, no matter what. Instead, select your products using our quiz or go through the different collections. Unlike other brands, we believe that your mood and how you want to look should define what you use on a given day.
Why should I combine your products?
Each one works beautifully on its own, but combined they’re a bomb of goodness for your locks! Mixing and layering our products is not only fun but gives you full control over your final look. Why not start by having an amazing in-shower experience and topping that with a fun exploration of styles when you’re in front of the mirror?
Does your company test on animals?
We are a cruelty-free brand and always will be. We do not test on animals and never ask others to do so on our behalf. In fact, our collagen and keratin are plant-based, which we totally love!
Do your products contain silicones?
Our products condition by relying mainly on natural oils such as Murumuru Butter, Moringa Seed Oil, and Shatavari Infused Glycerine. However the conditioning performance is enhaced by adding small amounts of a hair conditioning Amodimethicone. Therefore, the silicone in our formulas won’t cause that dreaded buildup that other silicones may cause.
Do Lu™ products contain sulfates?
Every Lu product is sulfate-free, and free of other nasties, too.
Do your shampoos and conditioners contain parabens?
Nope, about time those left our hair care routines!
Do your products have expiration dates?
Our products do have an expiration date as we’re a natural-based, science-fueled fueled brand.
Is it normal to feel tingling when using Lu™ products?
We’re sorry you’ve had bad experiences with other brands in the past. This should not be a concern with our products given the extensive testing and clean ingredients in our formulas. However, in the rare case that this happens, may we recommend rinsing with lukewarm water until the tingling sensation wears down, discontinuing the product use immediately, and going to a dermatologist for guidance.
Are your products safe for all ages?
Yaaas! As Latinas, we know that it’s very important to have a product that works for you and your family. Our brand is age and gender-friendly, and may we say oh so easy-to-love? We sure dare anyone in your family not to give it a try after they see the results.

Can I sell the products on my site?

Is it safe to use your products while I'm pregnant/nursing?
Haircare products are generally safe to use while pregnant or nursing, however, verify if you are allergic to any of the ingredients and always consult with your physician first.
Are they for hair loss?
Lu products prevent hair loss due to breakage, but they don't treat other hair loss types. In a healthy scalp, each hair grows from a hair follicle and goes through a natural cycle of growth (anagen phase), transition (catagen), and fall (telogen). Lu products have Impossible Keratin™, strengthening hair and minimizing breakage during these cycles in a normal scalp.
